In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. (Worth checking out TEDxJovem @ Ibira website: www.tedxjovemibira.com that happened last December 4th, co-organized by Joao as well!).

João Felipe Scarpelini was born with a habit of saving the world. At age 13, he wrote his first social project. The adults didn’t taken him seriously, of course. Today at age 24, he is dedicated to take teens seriously.
